The Ford Mustang legacy continued into the 4th generation with model years from 1994-2004. Ford redesigned the Mustang mid-way through this generation for the 1999 year and celebrated its 35th anniversary with a limited-edition model. These redesigned models featured sharper contours, redesigned taillights, larger wheel arches, new wheels, and more pronounced body lines. Although every Mustang from 1999 received the 35th anniversary fender emblems, only 2,310 GT convertibles sported the actual 35th anniversary appearance option package. This example is one of the lucky few and the package consists of a body-colored hood scoop, rear spoiler, side scoops, rocker panels, black rear insert and 17” 5-spoke aluminum wheels. While the interior featured black leather and vinyl seats with silver inserts and the pony logo, a silver instrument cluster with anniversary badge, and silver door trim inserts.
We are excited to represent this 1999 Ford Mustang GT convertible with the 35th Anniversary Appearance Package finished in Performance Red over a Midnight Black & Silver interior with a Black convertible top. Powering this Mustang is its 4.6L V8 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 302 lbs.-ft of torque which is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Special Anniversary Edition aluminum wheels are wrapped in brand new Goodyear Eagle tires measuring 245/45R17. This coupe convertible also comes equipped with traction control, wheel locks, Mach 460 sound system with CD player, boot cover, rubber floor mats, dual exhaust, power locks & windows, power adjustable seating & mirrors, air conditioning, and rear window defrost.
This limited-edition Mustang has only 59,526 miles on the odometer and has been cared for by single family ownership since new. Carfax report indicates 1 previous accident to the rear of the vehicle in 2000 here the original owner backed into another car in a parking lot. The car shows no signs of any damage, just some minor wear and tear on the paint that is to be expected from age. Since its arrival at our facility, we have continued to care for this Mustang by replacing the alternator, battery, tires, spark plugs, both headlights (due to faded lenses), air filter, and performed an engine oil & filter change. This vehicle comes with 2 sets of keys and 2 key fobs along with a spare tire and convertible boot cover. Celebrate Mustangs 35th Anniversary and enjoy a low mile, never abused convertible this summer! Thank you for your interest and please contact us directly for more information or to schedule a visit to our museum.
