Visiting the Chevrolet dealer would have rewarded you with the chance to see the iconic Corvette in its original glory being the last, solid axle example produced with single front headlights at the front end. This classic look of Corvette has continued to capture the hearts of enthusiasts and collectors alike!
We are very excited to offer this beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible finished in desired Onyx Black with Inca Silver coves over Red interior and Black convertible top! This example continues to be powered by its original 283ci V8 (EL code) producing 283 horsepower through Rochester fuel-injection mated to a Borg Warner 4-speed manual transmission! Additional equipment includes Wonderbar AM radio, heat/defrost, electric clock, interior courtesy lights, carpeted floor mats, front license plate bracket, full wheel covers highlighted by Michelin wide whitewall radial tires measuring 205/75R15!

The history of this example includes a full, frame-off restoration finished in approximately 2012 with all the body work expertly prepared and finished by County Corvette based in West Chester, PA. They were also responsible for the engine overhaul, rebuilding the fuel injection system, suspension, brakes, refinishing the wheels, complete interior, and rewiring of the entire car. It has been recently polished to a high shine and the black paint continues to appear a mile deep! It has been in the same collector's hands since 2015, always stored in a climate-controlled environment, along with minimal annual exercise to ensure it remains in strong running condition.
We tested all components and found everything to be operating properly right down to the clock and AM radio. It truly runs and drives as it should, so it is ready to show proudly and confidently!
