Named after the very race that modified Triumph Bonneville's dominated, the new Thruxton became a street ready, café racer with a little special look and feel for rider looking for a distinctive ride. Triumph Thruxton 900 Info:
Powered by an air-cooled 865cc DOHC parallel twin cylinder with 90mm pistons, 10.2 compression, and electric fuel injection, it makes a stout 67 horsepower and 51 ft. lbs. of torque! This power makes its way to the ground through a 5-speed constant-mesh manual transmission with multi-plate wet clutch. Brakes are twin piston Nissin floating calipers on single front & rear disc brakes. This example wears new Michelin tires matching the factory size of 100/90R18 up front and 130/80R17 over original polished RK Excel wire wheels. This example comes finished in the highly favored Tornado Red with White Racing Stripes with black seat. Features include rear sear seat cover with matching paint scheme, front tinted windscreen by Dart, dual chrome side view mirrors, Sportster rear springs, and Bonneville T100 style exhaust.
