About the Ferrari Testarossa Model:
Nearly any auto enthusiast can recognize the always-distinctive Ferrari Testarossa from just about any angle! In English, the Italian term Testarossa translated to “redhead” making this Pininfarina-design yet another reflection of admiration of female beauty! To solidify, the magnificent V12 engine's valve covers are painted red. Improvements were commonplace, so advancements we made year to year. By t1988, like the Ferrari model seen here, updates had already been made to the seats, along with the, exterior mirrors, gearbox, flywheel, air conditioning, air pump system for emission controls, improved 5-lug wheels, and more! This gorgeous 1988 Ferrari Testarossa example is finished in desirable Nero with soft Black Leather interior, accumulating just 22,124 original miles since new! The model seen here is powered by its original Tipo F113A 4.9L DOHC Flat 12-cylinder engine that produces 390 total horsepower and a gate-shifted 5-speed manual transmission. Features include climate-controlled air conditioning, power windows, and mirrors, adjustable seats, with upgraded 18” Speedline 512TR aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot SX tires, Ferrari fender shields, and Pioneer AM/FM/CD sound system!
This special Testarossa example was built in September 1988 and had a full engine-out service that included the timing belts, tensioner bearings, rebuilt water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, camshaft seal rings and end gaskets, cam cover gaskets, distributor plate and cap gaskets, spark plug o-rings, fresh spark plugs, all drive belts, new hood and bonnet struts, all new fluids and filters, rear main seal, input shaft seal, clutch inspection, and new pilot bearing! This 30k service was completed by Robert Dyche of GTO Services in Springfield, MO in February 2016 and has traveled just 324 miles since. It has been collector maintained with Mobil One synthetic oil and always driven with great care. This available Ferrari will come with an owner's manual, clean CarFax report, and service receipts covering the last two timing belt services completed in 2009 and 2016.
