With this same genuine passion in mind, Superformance went to work creating an exacting tribute replica to meet the expectations of Carroll Shelby himself. Their Mark III edition Cobra was introduced with perfect aesthetic appeal as well as original factory dimensions and immediately became one of the best available! These factory produced chassis' and hand-laminated fiberglass bodies are built professionally with the best of quality materials! Features include a TIG welded ladder chassis with chrome roll bar welded to the frame, fully independent 4-wheel suspension, power 4-wheel Wilwood ventilated disc brakes, adjustable coil-over shocks, reinforced fiberglass shell with 2-stage paint application process for ultra smooth finish, correct Smiths gauges with reverse 180mph speedometer, correct style pedals and shift handle, and 15” Halibrand style knock-off wheels just to name a few!

We are very pleased to offer this 1965 Superformance Mark III Cobra specially finished in classic Titanium Silver with Bright Silver Stripes and Black Leather appointed interior! It is it further accented with aluminum rivets on the hood scoop and hood surround! Power comes from a blueprinted Ford 460ci V8 big block built by Reed Performance Motorsport of Chalmette, LA and produces an estimated 500 horsepower and 550 ft lbs of torque! It is mated to a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip 3.73 rear differential! Special performance enhancements include aluminum Super Cobra Jet heads, Edelbrock Torker II 460 aluminum intake, Quick Fuel Technologies performance carburetor with splash pan, MSD electronic ignition, ceramic-coated headers, finned aluminum Cobra valve covers, in-line oil filter with auxiliary cooler, dual electric cooling fans, and Ford Motorsport high-flow aluminum water pump! It provides an excellent power curve, super smooth acceleration, and superb exhaust note from the traditional black coated side pipes!!

Under the hood you will see signatures from some prominent automotive persons, most notable being Peter Brock (race car driver), Aaron Shelby (son of Carroll Shelby) and Boyd Coddington (hot rod designer and custom car builder) This beautiful Cobra has traveled 14,218 miles since its completion in 2010. It received new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires in early 2022 along with new parking brake pads. A fresh engine oil change with filter was completed in preparation for this sale.
