The Cadillac Eldorado debuted in 1953 with great fanfare to the public, competing alongside the Buick Skylark and Packard Caribbean for the chic buyer of luxury convertibles. The Eldorado name itself translated to the “the gilded one” or Golden One, and represented Cadillac's most expensive offering on showrooms. It would wear gold script and emblems for this reason. It would receive advancements throughout the years, and achieve a 50 year run before the model series would end, with the twelfth generation Eldorado represented as the final edition in 2002. This final evolution Eldorado remained very impressive on many levels, both in design, style, performance, but also modern technology. It was offered in a Touring (ETC) version or Sport model (ESC). Each would appeal to the individual driver's tastes. Performance was inspired by the bullet-proof NorthStar 32-valve V8 introduced in 1994, providing 275 horsepower and 300 ft. lbs. of torque through a front-wheel-drive system. A wonderful road car with luxury interior appointments, as well as Integrated Chassis Control System that incorporated traction control, stability control, and ride sensing suspension characteristics!
We are very pleased to offer this 2000 Cadillac Eldorado ESC finished in factory applied, and beautiful Red Tiny Coat Metallic over all original and virtually showroom new Oatmeal Beige Leather interior! Options and features include 4.6L Northstar 32-valve V8 engine, automatic transmission, automatic HVAC climate system with steering wheel controls, 8-way power seats with power lumbar & heat, 16” chrome alloy wheels, power trunk release/pulldown, keyless entry, power windows & locks, rear defrost, cruise control, trip computer, Delco AM/FM audio system with steering wheel controls, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlight system, leather wrapped steering wheel & shift knob, complete cautery lamp group, lighted vanity mirrors, OnStar system, rear cargo net, and carpeted floor mats!
This stunningly kept example originally sold from Cadillac of Las Vegas in August 2000, and stayed garaged in sunny, dry Nevada for the first 6 years of its life, taken on a second owner in 2002 with only 4,739 miles on the odometer. It would move with the second owners to Mountain Home, AK in June 2006 and continue to be used only sparingly during their 17 years of ownership. All features and factory options are fully functional including the climate control systems, power accessories, and trunk operation. It was serviced almost exclusively over the years by only Cadillac dealerships, namely Findlay Cadillac of Henderson, NV and Kent Cadillac in Mountain Home, AR. Regularly engine oil changes, maintenance intervals, tire rotations, etc. all kept in check since day one! New Michelin Symmetry tires were last installed at 34,527 miles in 2012, with a brand new battery in 2019. Today, the odometer reads just 36,037 actual miles and continues to operate simply beautifully! A real treat for the Cadillac collector or enthusiast looking for a splendid driver and future show car! Act quickly!
