The Hummer H1, based off of the US military's M998 Humvee released by AM General in 1984, was officially released to the public on March 14th, 1992. With (slightly) more creature comforts, this truck carried several engines over its lifespan, with a 6.5L turbodiesel offering over the majority. Extremely capable, we are confident anyone reading this is familiar with its ground clearance, approach and departure angles, and water fording capabilities. Changes for the 2000 model year included better brakes for increased longevity and reduced vibration, new glow plugs & controller for enhanced engine management, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and better axle tolerances also aiding in reduced road vibrations. Truly the ultimate off-road vehicle, the H1 has become a great collectible!

Power comes from the original 6.5L Turbodiesel V8 and 4L80E automatic overdrive transmission. Options on this example include AM/FM/Cassette Delco sound system, air conditioning, upgraded Black Rhino Hard Alloy wheels with Central Tire Inflation System(CTIS), four bucket seats, clock, cruise control, dual fuel tanks, front brush guard, intermittent wipers, locking differential, luggage rack, Hella roof-mount driving lamps with covers, and of course, power steering, brakes, locks, windows, and side mirrors! The truck rides on brand new 37×12.5R17LT Baja MTZ P3 tires by Mickey Thompson with plenty of tread left!

We purchased this truck from the previous owner who acquired it from us just earlier this year before we had a chance to officially advertise it publicly. Having taken full advantage of the appreciating market, we elected to purchase it back. Having just 3 owners from new, it only has accumulated only 36,209 actual miles from new! A true time capsule in all respects! Plus, it has also been serviced almost exclusively by the renowned Lynch Hummer originally based in Chesterfield, MO most of its life.

Upon arrival to our Hummer-certified facility in January 2022, we commenced a full bumper-to-bumper inspection and serviced it as needed in preparation for sale. This included two new batteries (3-year warranty), installation of an onboard BatteryTender for times of storage, complete 12K Maintenance Service Interval which includes new engine oil/filter; transmission fluid & filter; transfer case fluid; geared hub oil; new air filter; fuel filter; fresh engine coolant; new thermostats; and complete Schedule A, B, & C Inspections; updated quick-release CTIS set with line extenders; and wheel alignment. It has been driven exactly 466 miles since completion.

The superb condition of the exterior paint and undercarriage finishes on most of the components would suggest that this example has seen zero off-road action and has been largely restricted to small trips through the urban jungle. Now freshly detailed, this H1 is ready for quite literally anything! It remains one of the nicest driving examples we have ever offered for sale, and should continue to be a solid blue-chip investment with such care and low mile history!
