Continuing to stand the test of time, Ford began making its 9th generation of F-Series trucks from 1992 to 1997. Throughout the years, Ford F-150 series pickups have become widely known to be dependable workhorse trucks that run strong for hundreds of thousands of miles. The 9th generation in particular has grown in collectors' popularity as it is the last of the old school era F-150 pickups that came with modern technology.
Offered here is a 1994 Ford F-150 XL Pickup that is ready to be a solid daily driver or new-age collectable to restore. Wearing the original Ford Teal Metallic paint over a Gray Cloth bench interior, it was purchased new and owned for its entirety by the same family of real estate holdings. Beginning life at ar Fort Lauderdale apartment property and driven mainly onsite as a utility truck for the first nine years. It would travel to St. Louis, MO in March 2003 with just 18,594 miles on the odometer. Usage would increase as it would eventually travel between multiple locations always being used as a property maintenance truck.
Today, it has the usual expected signs of wear and some rust. This pickup was serviced internally for most oil changes, and last outsourced for a major service to include radiator flush, new engine oil/filter, fresh transmission & differential fluid, and serpentine belt at 89,621 miles. A fresh oil pan gasket and new battery were installed in December 2016 along with an engine oil/filter change at approximately 99,700 miles. And in 2019 a new starter and key lock cylinder were installed along with new engine oil, new air and fuel filters.
This Ford still has plenty of life left with only 101,810 miles on its original 300ci 4.9L Inline 6-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Features include A/C, power steering, power brakes, dual gas tanks, and 8-foot bed with liner. The tires are older Kumho radials with approximately 12,000 miles accumulated since installation. The factory AM/FM/Cassette radio is nonfunctional, and the ashtray mechanism is broken. It will come with all original owner's manuals/books, 3 sets of keys, production build sheet, and clean CarFax report. Only being sold as it has been replaced with by newer fleet of service vehicles.
