We are very pleased to have offered for sale a final year 1931 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Roadster finished in classic Washington Blue with Black fenders, belt accents, and Tacoma Cream wire wheels with pinstripe! Options include the 201ci Inline 4 cylinder engine,3-speed transmission, rear mounted spare tire with polished stainless cover, etched glass wind wings, vacuum wiper, grill guard, quail Motometer with thermometer, running board step plates,dual cowl lights and taillights, rear fender steps on both sides for entry to the rumble seat, Firestone Gum-dipped whitewall tires, and more! This particular Ford Model A was fully restored by a prominent Illinois Model A collector and restoration expert. The body and frame were fully disassembled and properly painted, then reassembled with new wood braces. The brakes are all brand new, as is the entire suspension system with new grease fittings and bushings throughout! The engine was overhauled to include a valve job to the head, all new bearings, pistons, gaskets, rebuilt water pump, rebuilt Zenith carburetor, rebuilt distributor, etc. The engine has traveled few miles since completion and continues to run perfectly! The all new Charcoal Black vinyl interior was finely fitted as well as the vinyl convertible top. Its finished result makes for a highly decorated and very drivable example! Ready for summer time parades, outings across town, or confident weekend touring! It has been parked among a large collection of Model As for many years and is now ready to be enjoyed by it's new owner!
