This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe is a real head turner on the road!! 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe Background: An icon in American automotive design known throughout the world! Considered the junior Cadillac to consumers, it possessed the classic 1950s rear fins, plenty of trim to polish from front to back, and a very handsome look overall! Chevrolet called it Sweet, Smooth, and Sassy! in their advertising copy. Words that continue to ring true today, and a perfect embodiment of young mid-Fifties America!
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe Info: We are delighted to offer this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe finished in desired and hard to find code 822D Dusk Pearl with India Ivory roof and correct Black & Silver interior! This nicely optioned example comes with an early production 283ciV8 engine, Powerglide transmission, and original 1957 rear end. Options include upgraded Power Pak intake and 4bbl carburetor with dual exhaust, chrome exhaust tips, dual outside mirrors, electric windshield wipers, all tinted window glass, spinner hubcaps, older Remington Cushion-Aire wide whitewall tires measuring G78-14,reverse lights, and pushbutton AM radio!
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe survives out of the Auburn, IN area for the past 23 years with the previous owners, with a current odometer reading of just 82,101 original miles! The body, chassis, and undercarriage all survive in very good condition due to its garage kept history! The exterior paint was refinished in approximately 2005 and continues to shine very well with excellent gloss and smooth feel while retaining the factory chrome and stainless steel trim. The interior also remains factory original and very well kept throughout! Under the hood, you will see the original engine nicely detailed with tons of factory touches everywhere you look! The carburetor was recently rebuilt professionally with new kick down linkage by Carb Co Inc., along with a brand new exhaust system correctly exiting at the rear corners installed by the St. Louis Car Museum. This Bel Air runs down the road just wonderfully, and factory gauges are all functional.
