1989 rolls royce silver spur saloon

Most desired color combination of Magnolia over soft Tan hides with Magnolia piping! Excellent documentation that include original books/manuals, service records, tools, woolskin rugs, and more! A true investment example!

With changes coming about for Rolls Royce & Bentley to meet both a demanding public and continued United States efficiency mandates, their largest importer of the brand, a new model lineup was introduced for the 1980 model year to replace the Silver Wraith II and Silver Shadow II series. The new series would be named Silver Spirit along with longer wheelbase luxury model, the Silver Spur. The Spur would stretch the wheelbase to 124.5 and provide a standard Everflex top & larger rear passenger area fitted with tray tables. These outstanding long wheelbase road-going cars were very successful and produced through the 1989 model year, averaging only 624 units per year. Today, finding examples that have been maintained perfectly, and remain factory original with ultra-low mileage can be extremely difficult. This example will impress even the most critical of collectors!

This particular 1989 Rolls Royce Silver Spur Saloon marks the final year this model would be produced in its original design. Finished in the most desired of color combinations featuring Magnolia exterior (9510418) over Tan hides (A4178) with Magnolia piping (A3997) and Deep Fawn carpeting (7026)! A remarkable example that shows just 36,753 miles on the odometer today, all supported with service documentation. Features include original, numbers matching 6.75L V8 engine mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission, automatic climate control system (already converted to R134a), Girling hydraulic ride height leveling system, power windows, power locks, power seats, power mirrors, cruise control, leather wrapped steering wheel, front woolskin floor mats, passenger visor vanity mirror, Alpine AM/FM/CD/AUX/MP3 player, hood mascot, high pressure headlight washers, fully polished stainless steel full wheel covers highlighted elegantly with Vogue Tyre whitewall tires with yellow accent strip measuring 235/70R15.

This example will come with all original books/ manuals, recent service records, clean CarFax report, completely original small tool kit, all large tools, factory gloves still in plastic, two Castrol mineral oil containers in storage compartment, and extra Cassette radio with factory original RR cassette audio & cleaner tapes. Reported as having only three registered owners from new, it spent the early part of its life in Tuxedo, NY being sold new serviced by nearby Greenwich, Connecticut Rolls Royce Bentley specialist Carriage House Motor Cars through early 2001. It then made its way to Naples, FL where it would stay through the end of 2013, before trading to an Indiana classic car collection for the past 4 years. In 2014, it received new Vogue tires, along with a completely new brake system that included rebuilt brake calibers (6), four new rotors, new brakes pads front & rear, rear brake line, & fresh mineral oil throughout entire system; along with fresh valve cover gaskets. More recently, it had a fresh battery installed in 2015, and a full mechanical inspection by Rolls Royce/ Bentley Specialist Albers of Zionsville, IN in August 2016 ensuring its needs nothing! It received its last oil change with filter at 36,753 miles. It possesses near flawless original paint, excellent original leather interior that remains soft undyed, virtually perfect original wood trim, and all original appointments make this Silver Spur the one to buy! It may be the best on the market! Act quickly!
