He would keep this car meticulously maintainedby only Ford authorized service centers during his two decades ofownership! Having traded hands in the late 1970's, our records whoindicate changing hands only a few times until today. Once in thehands of owner, Patrick Meehan, in late 1998, he took a sympatheticapproach to carefully restoring the car on an as needed basis. Thisdid include a complete repaint of the exterior by ClassicAutomotive Specialties of Copiague, NY, fresh weather stripping,new dash pad, convertible top, re-plated chrome bumpers byResto-Trim in Lindenhurst, NY, engine gaskets & seals, rebuiltHolley carburetor, fluids & filters, new tires, rebuilttransmission (clutches, bands, seals, o-rings, steel sealing rings,and gaskets) by Lee Myles Transmissions in Patchogue, NY, newmufflers, rebuilt speedometer in 2002, rebuilt factory radio, etc.Today, only the original clock is non-functional. The originalowner's manual remains with the car, and all service records fromearly 1962 through present will be provided to the next luckyowner.
