The Pampered Life Of This1967Chevrolet C10 Custom Long Bed Pickup This truck has lived a ratherpampered life and has seen only one repaint since new! It sold newfrom Gene Jantzen Chevrolet here in St. Louis, MO on March 7th,1967 to M.F. Tilley. It is unknown how long Mr. Tilley maintainedownership with the documentation provided. We do know the originalWA-coded engine was replaced with another correct cast, rebuilt1967 WA-code engine in 1992 when the odometer showed just 19,405miles. We believe this truck sat for many years unused and likelyignored in dry storage. It then made its way to its owner, CharlieDeClue, who was responsible for the exterior repaint inapproximately 2010, and later cared for by Rolf Wellman who addedall new dual exhaust, new shocks at all four corners, and newHankook Optimo whitewall radial tires in 2015. The Museum recentlypurchased this truck from Mr. Wellman and replaced all the brakeshoes along with new hardware, new rear wheel cylinders, new aircleaner housing & fresh filter, new valve covers with gaskets, newengine oil & filter, driveshaft carrier bearing, back up lightswitch, replacement dash pad, along with a few other interiorrefurbishments. We really couldn't be more pleased with the overallappearance and drivability of this wonderful Custom 10 long bedpickup!
