The Bentley Arnage was one of the last vehicles developed byBentley just before ending their long-time association withRolls-Royce. Introduced in 1998, the new Arnage was to be theBritish luxury brand's flagship sedan as they entered into the 21stcentury. The new Bentley Arnage was a big, high-end luxury car withrobust horsepower- a true super car of its generation. The newArnage was first and foremost a large, luxury sedan. It weighed inat almost 5,300 pounds and was built on a long, 122.7" chassis. Theoverall length was an impressive 212 inches. Under the hood, theArnage received its power courtesy of a BMW-built, dual overheadcamshaft, fuel injected, V-8 engine that produced 349 horsepowerand had a 4.4 liter displacement. It was backed by a five-speed,automatic transmission and, of course, was rear-wheel drive.
