It featured an all-aluminum space frameproviding a 28% lighter chassis that was also 40% stiffer. Only 1,810Coupes would find their way to the United States, and of those, themajority featured the Electrohydraulic F1 style 6-speed manualpaddle shift transmission at 1,341 units. Powering this rear-enginepowerhouse was a new 3.6L V8 with flat plane crank and titaniumconnecting rods pushing the redline to 8,700rpm! It provided 395bhp and 275 lb. ft. of torque launching this Italian beauty to 60mph in only 4.6 seconds, and 100mph in a tick over 11 seconds, anda top speed of 175mph! A complete new clutch assembly,flywheel, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, and rear main seal wereinstalled in April 2006 at 11,726 miles along with TCU update.Per typical maintenance intervals, the timing belt and rollers werereplaced again at 20,408 miles along with new thermostat, andaccessory belts in June 2007. New air flow meter and radiator fanin late 2007. Having changed hands to its most recent owner eightyears ago at 29,235 miles, it was immediately treated to a full 30KInterval Service by Chesterfield Motorsports here in St. Louis.This included a brake fluid flush, new transmission fluid,transaxle gear oil, engine & cabin air filters, new battery, newspark plugs, antifreeze, alternator belt, power steering belt,fresh engine oil/filter, new front lower ball joints, lower shockbushings, 4-wheel alignment; transmission oil pipe, return line, &filter; new front & rear brake pads/ rotors, and new alternator.New BF Goodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires were installed at 33,869miles in 2013. More recently, it received a fresh timing beltreplacement in March 2014 at 35,247 miles that also included allnew fluids & accessory belts.
