About Our Mercedes Benz 560SL For Sale:
Already made popular by the earlier designs, the new “R107” chassis SL quickly gained in popularity and sold exceptionally well in the US market. Due in part to its popularity and timeless styling, the R107 generation SL remains, even today, the longest running Mercedes SL body style with production models built from 1971 all the way to 1989!
Finished in elegant and highly desired 040- Black (Schwarz) with all an original and stunning 274- Light Brown leather interior, this well kept, low mileage Mercedes Benz 560SL is equipped with a 5.6L fuel-injected aluminum V8 engine producing 227hp and 279 ft lbs of torque! Options include a 4-speed automatic transmission, matching auxiliary hard top and original Black soft convertible top. This nearly perfect 560SL would remain in this owner's meticulous care for the next 27 years, making this a 80s Mercedes Benz a prime investment grade example!
