Offered here is a 1932 Ford 3-window Custom Coupe finished in a stunning Rosewood Metallic paint with custom Pearl Flames along with a matching White/Rose combination interior! It comes powered by a 1964 date-coded 409ci V8 that was professionally built to utilize a Bill Littlefield 671 roots-style supercharger fitted with a BDS underdrive pully & intake using twin Carter Competition-Series 500cfm carburetors! Power is estimated at a solid 500 horsepower which is delivered to the rear axle through a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, Haynes racing clutch, Lakewood 2-piece shield, and Ford 9” rear axle equipped with Richmond 3.50:1 gearing and Auburn Posi-Traction for ultimate durability!
It rides on a TCI (Total Cost Involved) boxed chassis with a tri-angulated 4-link rear suspension with adjustable Aldan American coil-over shocks, Superbell 4” drop drilled I-beam front axle, Pete & Jakes hairpins, Bilstein chrome shocks, and traditional Vega steering box. The front utilizes GM disc brakes while the rear axle has been fitted with big brake drum configuration. A Painless Wiring harness handles the electronics that include an electronic fuel pump, Cooling Components electric fan, Vertex distributor, 100-amp alternator, and all interior appointments.
The list of custom touches, high end components, and outstanding build characteristics is long, and it will be highly encouraged for interested parties to have a closer look at it in person! The construction began in 2001 with every intention for the end results to be a proven show winner! When the assembly was completed, it was taken apart for the chassis, support members, suspension parts, and entire body to be professionally painted in multi-step, layered in 2-stage fashion for a deep, smooth finish. The pearl white flames have been outlined and buried underneath a layer of clear coat for years of protection! One look at the car underneath and you can see the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail!
Further amenities include power windows, AM/FM/CD audio system, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, Lokar emergency brake, electric suicide door locks, 15” American Racing TorqueThrust II's with spinners and staggered 6—Series BF Goodrich Radial tires, AutoMeter Ultra-Lite Pro-Comp gauges set into an aluminum turned dash surround, and more! Chrome and polished billet aluminum are everywhere from braided stainless steel brake lines, stainless fuel & brake hard lines, expertly fabricated custom exhaust headers and fully polished exhaust tubing & mufflers, suspension components, all combine to a true showstopper!
It will come with a host of built documentation and foam show boards to display proudly at high end show gatherings. If you prefer a front hood cover, a fully painted hinged front hood shell is provided with alternate air cleaner assemblies to change the look if you wish. It has been enjoyed by only three owners since its completion in 2006, now showing 3,714 miles on the odometer! So clear off a shelf in the garage and get ready for some trophies to ride home in the passenger seat! And trust us when we say it's as impressive to admire as it is to rip through the gears! Call with questions or to schedule a chance to review in person. Thanks as always for looking!
